Eat Right And Stay Fit In Winter

So, winter is taking its place. Take good care of yourself.  Many people fall sick in the first few weeks of this season. However, you can avoid it now and in future as well. Just have the right food and stay feet and warm.

Choose your food, which contains niacin. According to health experts, niacin is very helpful in keeping the nervous system stable. More significantly, it boosts the circulatory system as well, which eventually expand the capillaries for more and better blood circulation. And better blood circulation means getting warmth from inside.  Milk, pea nuts, eggs and cheese have the heavy resource of niacin. Have them regularly and never let your hands or feet get cold.

In winter, you are going to get varieties of vegetables and fruits in abundance. So the secret to beat the cold lies in them as well. Have the fruits and vegetables, which are rich in vitamin C. Leeks, carrots, spinach and fruits like peaches, apricots, and papaya can really keep you warm.

I know, giving the excuse of chilling cold, you are going to have all those spicy and oily foods. There is no harm in going for spicy dishes, but remember that they can add some extra flab in your body as well. So, when you are planning to have such kind of food, you first order for a bowl of hot n sour soup. Then, the main course will definitely be minimized.   If in the menu, there are dishes of stew mushroom and sweet potato then just go for them without thinking anything.

While at home, you can try to make various hot drinks from tea as well. But, try to avoid milk, sugar. Instead of them, you can try this time ginger, black peeper, lemon, cardamom, orange peel or any other natural refresher according to your mood and taste.

If you are very sensitive to cold then keep the following Don’ts in mind and stay feet. Never, go for any kind of cold drinks or icy dessert, even if they are very tempting. Don’t eat raw foods, as they can really make you rush to hospital.
