Eat Healthy for Beautiful Skin

It is well known that what types of food you put inside your body will show up on the outside of your body and affect your skin. That is why it is vital, in order to have beautiful, healthy skin, to eat foods that contribute to your overall health.

Fluorine

Fluorine is necessary to your body’s health and well-being since it is the body’s anti-resistant element. Too little fluorine will result in scaly skin and disorders of the blood and spleen.

Since it is well known that fluorine is destroyed in the cooking process, it would be wise to eat most of your fruit and vegetables in their raw state. Examples of other fluorine-rich foods are goat milk, avocadoes, cabbage, and cottage cheese.

Sodium

Lack of sodium in your diet can result in premature wrinkling and sticky-feeling skin.  One sodium-rich food that has many other good qualities is cucumbers. It is good for you and will help you keep cool in the summer.

Silicon

Low amounts of silicon in your daily intake will cause various skin rashes and eruptions.  Foods containing adequate amounts of silicon are sprouts, tomatoes, strawberries, figs, and barley.

Chlorophyll

Lack of chlorophyll in the diet can cause skin eruptions to occur. Chlorophyll is commonly found in all green, leafy vegetables, as well as wheat germ.

Iodine

Iodine is very important to your health because, without it, your kidneys won’t flush properly. Iodine-rich foods include green leafy vegetables, carrots, and beetroot.

Perhaps the most important piece of information you need to know is that your kidneys start most of your skin problems. To keep your kidneys flushed and working properly, always drink lots of water and ingest iodine-rich foods.

Do yourself and your body a favor by starting each and every day with a glass of water sweetened with 1 tsp honey and 1 lime twist. It will clear the toxins and poisons from your system and give your digestive system a good jump-start on the day ahead. Now you know how to eat healthy in order to obtain beautiful skin.
