Daily Skin Care
Our skin is the most appealing organ and high maintenance part of our body. Some individuals have skin, sensitive to the slightest changes in health, emotions and environment. For example, even consuming chocolates can cause the growth of pimples on face. It is so sensitive that if you are unable to get a sound night sleep dark circles appear under your eyes. Going out in the sun frequently can make your skin tanned and freckled. So the problems are endless. Thus, we should follow some skin care remedies for different kinds of skin.
In case of dry skin, rich cream cleanser should be used instead of soap and water. Astringent should be avoided for cleansing as it will further dry your skin. A mild skin toner would be a better choice. Apply a good quality moisturizing lotion during the day after bath. Before applying make-up and after removing make-up or before sleeping at night, you can wash your face with the juice of a melon. Try to pamper your skin with a weekly facial, by the massage crèmes and lotions available in the market or some home ingredients. Honey softens and egg yolk brings glow to the skin. To prevent dryness milk mixed with melted butter rejuvenates the dead dry skin. Lanolin, apple juice, peach juice, sour cream and crushed almonds can work wonders for dry skin.
Oily skin gets affected with dirt and dust more than dry skin. Prerequisite is a good and regular cleansing. If oily skin is not cleaned properly and regularly, the dust particles settle in blocking the pores of the skin and aggravate the problem of acne, pimples and blackheads. Oily skinned face should be washed with medicated soap and water. The use of astringents is good as they cleanse the oily effect on the skin.
