Curd Can Help You Making Healthy Recipe
Curd itself is very good for health, except in some exceptional case. Most of the time, we eat curd as side dish or sometimes we make drinks out of it to quench our thirst.
However, here in this article, I will tell you about how you can use curd to make a healthy dish, which is rich in taste as well. Especially, try it out during summer, as it keeps you cool.
Brinjal and Curd
Though this combination may appear very absurd to you, but if you know how to make this dish then definitely you have to change your opinion. The ingredients you need for this dish is two medium sized brinjal, oil, coriander powder, coriander leaves, salt, sugar, cumin, green chili, and 500 gram of curd.
First, you have to cut the brinjals longitudinally to make 6-8 pieces out of each. Now, you need to put some salt into the cut brinjals and keep them for five minutes. Afterwards, you need to fry them on a frying pan with using as less oil as possible. Brinjal should be cooked properly.
By this time, take about four to five green chilies and cut them longitudinally. Likewise, chop the coriander leaves as well. Bring the curd in a big bowl and put salt according to your taste in it. You also need to put the coriander powder in it and mix it well. Yes, if you want a bit of sweetness in your curry then add one to two spoon of sugar as well. Make this mixture not much before you finish frying your brinjal.
In the next step, heat one table spoon of oil and then put cumin seed and green chilies into it. The oil should be properly heated first. Now you need to put the curd mixture into the oil. Without delaying put the brinjal in it as well.
Don’t heat it anymore and keep the whole thing in another bowl and then put the chopped coriander leaves on it. Your dish is ready and can be served with rice. Always remember not to allow the curd to start boiling. So before it gets heated up to boil, you need to remove them from heat.
