Coq10 Neurological Benefits
One of the questions in these days is the existence of Coq10 Neurological benefits. In order to help those who use cholesterol-lowering drugs in the stating class and to protect those suffering from a heart disease and other cardiovascular problems, Coenzyme q10 is mainly used.
But an indication that it is useful in slowing the onset of Alzheimer’s disease is always present and many users reported with anecdotes that they felt an enhancement in their focus and productivity.
Unlike the other studies, which were done on a vast scale and a rapid rate, there is only a minimal amount of studies, which were done in the era of coq10 neurological benefit.
Among the promising results of such studies, one study conducted on Alzheimer patients has revealed that it is playing a good role in slowing the onset of dementia but this should be backed up by a lot more studies before it can be recommended for treatment and regular usage in hospitals and medical care units.
Parkinson center was the host of a few studies, which are conducted in order to find out if coq10 benefited people with Parkinson’s. These yielded similar results as that of the Alzheimer’s study saying that if they are consumed in the early stages of the Parkinson’s disease, then it could delay the onset of disabling effects.
However, this is not recommended for general use because they used high amounts of the substance on the affected patients (300 mg, 600mg and 1200 mg per day) while conducting this study.
Another case included 3 month- placebo treatment to some patients and 60 mg of coq10 was given to the remaining patients of the whole lot of 32 who were suffering from heart failure in the final stages.
Those patients who were treated with coq10 have shown a large-scale improvement in their quality of life along with clinical symptoms and functional status. But no changes have been found out with respect to the echocardiogram and also in the objective markers.
Every cell contains coq10, which acts as a catalyst for various functions within the human body and as we age, it was found that the levels would decline.
It contributes in the conversion of the food we eat into energy along with its other helpful factors. The examples of food items containing high percentage of coq10 are beef heart, spinach, peanuts, and sardines.
