Conditioning and Fitness

The sportsperson as well as men and women who are intended to gain mind and body efficiency, constant improvement, and stable abilities should undergo conditioning as well as fitness programs all the year round. The sports conditioning and fitness training is emphasis on stress, which is adaptive body stress or toughness and should not be confused with mental stress. The fundamental training of sportsmen and women is based on the practice of sustaining body under a certain amount of stress or physical strain to boost physical capability. Staying healthy is a condition of mental, physical and social activeness. But fitness is the capability to fulfill the requirement of bodily task of daily lives. The physical exercise experts and health professionals have recognized many factors or bodily features that lead to the definition of fitness.

Strength is the level to which muscles can exercise pressure against resistance by using an object or person. Power is the capacity to undergo muscular contraction. The two main gears of power are strength and speed, for example, jogging or a running. Agility is the capability to perform a series of tense power movements in hurried succession in opposite directions, such as ZigZag running.

Balance is the capacity to control the position of the body while exercising a posture. It could be while moving or performing a gymnastic act. Flexibility is the capability to attain an extensive range of movement without being obstructed by surplus tissue, such as, fat or muscle.  Local Muscle Endurance is the capability to perform sustained work by a particular muscle only for example rowing or cycling.

Cardiovascular Endurance is the capability of heart to distribute blood to operational muscles and their power to use it, such as running larger distances. Strength Endurance is to perform utmost contraction again and again. Co-ordination is must to put together all these discussed components so that effectual movements are accomplished.
