Chocolate Souffle Delight

The mention of chocolate itself brings a tempting image in one’s mind. Imagine adding icing on the cake and talking about chocolate souffles which can bring water in anyone’s mouth. Instead of rushing to the bakery to fulfill your desire of eating a souffle, one can follow the given recipes and make delicious and mouth watery chocolate souffles at home itself. Along with helping you enjoy the task of cooking, souffles made at home are also money saving along with adhering to the specific tastes of an individual.

To prepare a chocolate souffle at home, one needs to first take four 150ml heat proof or microwavable bowls. Butter these bowls and keep them inside the oven which is preheated to 190C. Chop 150gm chocolate into small pieces and melt it by putting it in a heatproof bowl which is set over a pot of gently simmering water. After the chocolate gets melted, allow it to cool down a bit before beating in 85gm castor sugar, 1tsp brandy and ½ tsp vanilla essence in it. After that one should beat the egg yolks and then 1 tsp plain flour. You will find that the mixture becomes fairly stiff after this procedure. Whisk or beat the egg whites until stiff and peaky and gently fold them into the chocolate mixture. This mixture should then be poured into the 4 prepared bowls and baked till 10-12 minutes until they are well-risen. To make the soufflé even more exotic, one can add chocolate sauce over it.

By following a simple preparation method, one can easily prepare delicious chocolate soufflés at home to experience the delight of dessert. However, one should be careful of health too and should not get completely swayed away by taste. Since this dessert is high in calories, one should consume it carefully and intelligently only in small amounts.
