Chest Press

Almost all pushing movements include the chest. Chest Presses are one of the most popular and effective workouts. The stimulation of the chest is done using weights in one of two motions, either a press or a fly. However, the most common workout for the chest muscles is the bench press or chest press exercise.

One can begin by upholding the medicine ball using both hands just at the chest level with elbows pointing out. Rolling up a small towel longitudinally can also initially do chest Press. Now, lie over it so that the gap between the curve of your lower back and the floor is filled.. Then curve your knees with feet leveled and grasp a weight in each hands with palms facing inwards .The whole chest is made up of the pectoral muscles known as major and minor. The pectoralis major is the larger one and envelops major portion of the clavier and sternum. It is jointed with the upper arm. The pectoralis major is a big long, flat, and fan shaped muscle. It envelops the whole upper rib cage. Chest is a major muscle of the body comprising of numerous fibers. Chest is the focus of complete physique. So, maintain your chest a little above the standards so that it can really withstand hard hitting.

To perform the chest pass drill, you require a partner. Start by standing, facing each other with keeping your feet and shoulder away from each other. The knees should be slightly bent.

Chest Press equipment generally include dumbbells, mat or gym bench. Chest Exercise such as bench Press can be done on a bench that includes a bar rack or a plain flat bench. For protection, it is recommended that there is always a spotter around to help you as and when required.
