If you are including in a lot of sugar, fats and high calorie dishes then your diet is surely unhealthy and this type of diet just adds extra layers of fats making the body overweight and obese. Even too much salt, caffeine and alcohol are equally harmful or the body. Apart from making the body obese this type of unhealthy diet also makes the body prone to various harmful and dangerous diseases.

It is not that salty food, fatty food, alcohol and caffeine should be completely excluded from the diet. Their excess can harm the body therefore it is better to take these things in moderation. It is very essential to eat healthy diet. Only a healthy diet can help your body meet the challenges of the fast and hectic lifestyle. If you are not healthy enough then you will find difficult to perform even the normal and basic tasks.

Some of the foodstuffs are believed to have fighting powers against the harmful diseases. Some of these food stuffs are fruits, vegetables, milk and milk products, fish, meat beans, nuts and even herbs and spices. You should plan your diet in such a way that they contain all the essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals in the right ratio and proportion. The first meal of your day should be very healthy.

Include cereals, whole grain bread and also milk in your breakfast. Make a habit of eating fresh foods instead of stale ones as the food which is stale loses some of its essential vitamins and minerals. Do not overheat the food as it can burn the various nutrients of the foodstuff. Water is one of the most important part of the meals. Take as much water as you can. It is not only healthy it also nourishes the skin making you look more beautiful and healthy. Once in a while you can surely eat a piece of your favorite desert and you can even have a glass of red wine once in a while.

A healthy diet should be complemented with the right amount of exercise. It will not only keep our healthy but also keep your body fit and active.
