Calming Herbal Teas

Herbal teas are becoming very popular for their medicinal benefits. Herbal tea is also tasty drink. Another important factor is that these drinks are less time consuming and very easy to make. Sometimes, just a cup of hot water is enough to make herbal tea.

These days, you will find several verities of herbal teas with different flavours. Here, I would talk about some popular herbal teas like chamomile tea, ginger tea and jasmine tea.

If you are suffering from sleeplessness then go for chamomile tea. It works as a natural sedative. Likewise, women, who suffer from stomach cramp during menstruation, chamomile tea can be of great help, as it has great anti-spasmodic quality. It is also helpful for proper digestion and those, who suffer from over anxiety. Apart from consuming it, you can use it as skin cleanser.

After a hectic day from work, what you need is a cup of tea or any kind of refreshing drink. I would suggest you to try jasmine herbal tea. You can have it as a hot and cold drink. Particularly, the soothing effect of its flavor is unique in itself. Once you have this tea, you can feel the relaxing effect immediately. Apart from as refresher, it’s good for digestive system as well.

Last but not the least; I will talk the ginger teas, which has immense number of good qualities. It has many medicinal properties. It can help you get rid of the dry cough, which usually stays for long time.   The anti-fungal and anti-spasmodic qualities help for good digestion. It can help those, who have the bad breath problem.

The hot ginger tea can also give you immediate relief from muscle pain and dizziness.
Remember, you should not boil much to prepare your cup of herbal tea. Just pour boiling water into the mixture of tea herbs and keep it covered for 3-5 minutes and then drain to have.  There is no harm in keeping it for long, but it tastes bitter.
