Cabbage soup diet

If you are looking for a dietary plan which results in instant and immediate weight loss, then the Cabbage soup diet is the perfect plan for you. The basic key of this dietary plan is to have more and more cabbage soup, which burns calories because of its negligible calorie content. This plan follows a seven day meal plan. Just include the following meals in your diet for just seven days and see the magic work and make that extra layer of fat vanish from your body.

The first day meal includes cabbage soup and fruits except banana, unsweetened tea, black coffee, cranberry juice and water. Second day meal includes soup and vegetables but only raw, boiled or steamed and avoid dry beans, peas and corns. The meal of dinner includes a baked potato with butter.

On the third day you can go for fruits and vegetables along with cabbage soup. Day four includes up to 8 bananas, fat free milk and cabbage soup. On the fifth day, along with cabbage soup, up to six tomatoes and up to 450gms of meat and vegetables along with cabbage soup. The second last day meal includes meat and vegetables along with cabbage soup. The last day meal includes cabbage soup and brown rice, fruit juice and vegetables.

This diet is widely criticized. The reason for the criticism being that this is not a nutritious and well balanced dietary plan. It does not give long term results; moreover it is very monotonous and lacks some essential vitamin and minerals, which are very important for the well being of the body. This diet insists on having more and more cabbage soup, but this soup does not contain any of the weight loss ingredients and it is just calorie free.

However, in spite of its criticism, this diet is widely adopted by people because it is a very simple diet and has no complicated element. This diet gives a break from the calorie filled junk food and it is an affordable diet that can be adopted by anyone.
