Build Muscle While You Lose or Gain Weight

buildmusclesgianweightWhen you are a new bodybuilder and want to lose fat some people believe you should lose the weight first before you begin lifting. That is not necessary. Go ahead and start working out while concentrating on your nutrition.

To gain weight during bodybuilding you want to gain lean muscle mass. This article will discuss how to lose weight or gain weight with your bodybuilding program.

To lose weight while muscle building you may not see big changes on the scale but you will be building muscle if you follow the big three: workout, diet, and rest. Building muscle to burn fat is exactly what you need to do. Muscle burns fat more effectively.

If you are trying to lose fat then your diet should be different from someone who just wants to gain muscle. If you want to lose fat, you will need to eat fewer calories than you consume. Do not pay attention to your scales. Start taking body measurements instead. Include aerobics in your workout program as it is the best fat buster.

All this exercise will boost your metabolism and you will lose fat while you build muscle.  Do your weight training at a fast pace with moderate weights. Take short rests between exercises and sets.

To build muscle mass you also need the proper workout, diet, and rest periods. For people of normal body size, weight train three times a week and do aerobics three times a week and take one day off completely.

To build lean muscle mass when you do not need to lose weight, you need to take in excess calories. Train at a moderate pace with moderate to heavy weights. Do not rest long between sets.

If you are a hard gainer you need to eat even more calories and do not add aerobics to your routine. You should train with heavy weights at a slow pace. Allow for longer rest between sets

Whether you want to gain or lose weight, your diet should be full of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and mono-saturated fats. Allow at least 24 hours between workouts and get eight hours of sleep a night if you can.
