When one experiences weight gain and notices extra layer of fats on the body one really gets tense. This compels the person to opt for some weight loss programs. Today with the increasing problem of weight gain there are endless number of programs and schedule available in the market. These programs are not only expensive but also very time consuming. Even after joining these programs people may experience no weight loss and in some cases the weight may increase and worsen the situation. The reason for this is that people ignore the idea of balanced nutritious diet for the body. The best way to lose weight is through self discipline.

If you make up your mind and follow your diet plan sincerely, only then can you experience the desired changes in your body.

More than losing weight, it is important to maintain that weight loss. This can be done by following the following tips and suggestions. Strictly follow the chosen diet plan and don’t forget to take supplements in order to avoid weakness. Before taking the meal opt for eating something nutritious and low in fat, to avoid over eating or eating more during the meals. Go in for substantial breakfast and your lunch should be small.

Eat small quantities of food at a time. Eat whatever you take in the first serving and strictly say no to the second serving. Quit eating desert as it is rich in calories and high in fats. Don’t forget to count the calorie intake each day to make an assessment of your diet during the whole day. Ideal calorie intake depends on the height, age and weight of the person. As the age increases the calorie intake should decrease. An average woman of 5 feet 2 inches and 125 pounds require 1600 calories.  But a male of height 5 feet 10 inches at the age of 20-29 require 1730 calories. Make an assessment of the calories required by you according to your sex, weight and height and then make your diet plan and strictly follow it for best and everlasting results.
