Benefits Of Strength Training
Good physic and strong muscles are dreams of every person even he/she of any age. Long time before no women was expected to pick heavy weight. They are considered weak but this statement is totally changed in present era.
Authentic research has revealed that systematic and recommended strength training exercises are considered both safe and effective for men and women of all the ages, including those who are not in even perfect health conditions. Strength training has a lot of benefits for women especially for the age of 35-40 and it benefices the same with men also.
Many older people question the benefits of strength training but a lot of research has proven the vast physiological and psychological benefits of weight training exercises when added into a general healthy fit lifestyle. Some of benefits of strength training are mentioned below:
• Strength training which also referred to as resistance training enables adults to improve their overall health and fitness by increasing muscular strength, endurance, and bone density and by improving their insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism.
• It decreases the risk of fall and fracture. It also promotes independent living.
• Some people who are older. They are unable to walk independently and who walk with the help of walkers can improve lean muscle mass and strength that’s needed to walk without the use of a walker or cane through regular strength training.
• As person grow older, strength training would benefit them greatly. It works in their favor by reducing the symptoms of chronic problems like osteoporosis, obesity, backache, depression, and diabetes.
• It helps to reduce the pain by 41% of the patients of chronic osteoarthritis and help in increasing strength and general physical ability.
• These exercise help to maintain weight. It increases the person metabolic rate up to 15% which is very helpful for weight loss and control of weight both.
• Strength training decreases the heart risk as heart risk caught less to those people who are lean.
• Strength training exercises helps in taking biological change in brain and results less depression. It helps the person to relief from depression.
• People who exercise regularly find improvement in their sleep. A survey concludes strength training exercises help the people to get sound sleep at night.
