Honey is a pure essential viscous fluid which is produced by the honey bees and derived from the nectar of flowers. Honey has similar composition like granulated sugar which is derived from sugarcane. Honey contains 40% fructose and 50 % glucose. Honey as attractive baking properties and very good flavor, for this reason many people prefer it over sugar.
There are numerous benefits of honey; it is very beneficial for skin disorders. It helps to rejuvenate skin and provides glow and softness to skin; it also helps in eliminating fine wrinkles. It acts as a good moisturizer for skin. Honey has laxative effect on digestion system, which helps is curing skin problems like pimples, acne, and other problems associated with constipation.
Honey has many antibacterial and antifungal properties. It has an antibiotic action on human body. Honey helps in treating burs and scars, ulcers .Honey is a very viscous liquid for this reason it absorbs water from surrounding inflamed tissue. In some cases amputation and skin grafting have been prevented due to honey.
Honey can cure diarrhoea; it is believed that at a concentration of 40 % it can kill bacteria present in gut which causes diarrhoea and dysentery. Honey can cure all types of allergies. Honey is sweet in nature, but it helps in preventing teeth, it has antimicrobial property which can cure dental plague.
Honey helps is curing cold and coughs, it is also digested by very sensitive stomachs. It helps kidneys and liver to function better. Amongst several benefits of honey the most popular benefit is weight control, honey taken with warm and lemon reduces considerable amount of weight and keeps body fit and light. It supplies great energy o body but at the same time it controls weight.
Honey is a very good medicine for people suffering from insomnia, it recovers human nervous system. Honey taken with luke warm water at knight helps curing insomnia. Honey reduces stress also, it is very suitable for people who are suffering from stress, as it clams highs and lows of mood.
