Beat Summer With Salad

As the summer makes an entry, we tend to lose our appetite as well. We keep on craving for something to drink and drink, as the usual spicy food gives you a headache. Don’t worry! Here, in this article, I am going to tell you about a dietary option, which can make your summer cool and healthy as well.

We all know that food is necessary for our body. During summer, we hardly feel hungry, especially we cannot think of regular spicy foods. To deal with such kind of mood and situation, why don’t you opt for salad? Yes, salad can be filling and a cool eating experience as well.

Doesn’t start assuming that salad means I am talking about a boring side dish, we Indians usually have with the main course! I am going to tell you about salad, which is tasty, healthy and soothing at the same time in the hot summer days.

For this summer special salad, all you need is 100 grams of blanched broccoli, around 50-60 grams of baby corn, around 80 grams of mushroom. For dressing and making it delicious, you will be needing about 75 grams of yogurt, few chopped garlic, two tablespoon of fresh cream, half teaspoon of pepper. Finally, for decoration, you can take tomatoes cut into flower shape or asparagus tip or carrot leaves.

The method to prepare this summer salad is very easy and less time consuming. Cut broccolis into pieces. You can give them shape according to your liking. Likewise cut mushrooms and baby corn as well. Now, all you need is to toss them together with seasoning. Next, you put them in salad bowl having a bed of lettuce. On the top of them, you can garnish with tomato, carrot leaves.

On the other hand mix up all dressing ingredients and make a smooth mixture out of it, which can be served on the top of the salad separately.
