Balancing Body Imperfections
No matter how hard we try, there is always something about our bodies that just seems to nag at us. It could be your neck, shoulders, bust, waist, arms or even your butt and thighs. No matter what your issue is, there are ways that you can make them look better so you feel better about yourself and your appearance.
To use your hairstyle to your advantage, keep it at least to the length of the middle of your neck. To shorten the length of your neck, you can wear a choker or scarf to use up some of the empty space. For a longer thin neck, use a cravat in your blouse or bulky layering.
For those who have a short and or thick neck, keep your neckline open. V-necks are great, as are long thin necklace chains and oblong scarves. You can even try wearing a shirt or jacket that has the collar stand up in the back and keep it low in the front.
The bust can be a problem for many women. Whether you are large busted or small busted, this can create an issue for some. If you have a small bust, the best invention is a great bra. Wear your tops loose and if you wear scarves, do so inside your blouse.
A full bust means that you should wear open necklines, loose fitting tops, plain and not printed fabrics and soft fabric. You also want to avoid layering your clothes. The sleeves on your blouses should either be long or go sleeveless.
The butt and thighs are a big problem area for many women. To get a butt that isn’t there, wear fitted jackets and stiff fabrics just to get you started. If you are full and need to tone it down, balance the top with the bottom and avoid stiff clothes.
With a little looking on the internet, you will be able to find other suggestions to help with every part of your body. You can dress up or dress down to make you feel more comfortable and help with those nagging parts of your body.
