At Home Dumbbell Workouts

dumbbellexercisesMost people find it hard to go to the gym everyday to do workouts. They are busy with their regular day-to-day activities and do not have enough time to spare for their exercises and traveling to the gym.

So, an easy way is to do some workouts right at home so that they can keep themselves healthy and fit at a low cost with less time.

First, we have to get dumbbells to do the workouts and there might be other fitness equipment of low cost, which can be kept in our home. The equipment we need depends on our routine and in the case of muscle building with free weights; we will definitely need a bench press. Dumbbells that have plates would be a good choice.

We should first start by lifting fewer weights and then we can gradually increase the amount of weight we can lift. If the number or repeats cannot be done by more than fifteen then it means that, we are lifting more weight and we should try to reduce it in such a way that we can do at least 15 repeats at once.

We can do up to three or five sets for each workout and we can increase the number of sets once we tend to gain more weight. We can get slow results if we do lot of workouts.

We must work according to our personal capacity and we should not lost control of our body. We must push ourselves to the maximum and check how much we do with out maximum effort.

It can help in balancing ourselves and finding our maximum capacity. We should give proper focus to the muscles and our body and we must be aware of the injuries that can be caused if we do the workouts wrongly.

Some of the workouts that can be done with dumbbells are curls, shoulder press, raises, rows, shrugs, overhead extensions, and lots more. Use them for squats and lunges to work out the lower body.

That’s a whole body workout. Even if there is no equipment in our home, we can do push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, sit-ups, and other simple workouts to keep ourselves healthy.

We can practice different types of cardio workouts and keep ourselves active. Cardio can give us the energy and sportive muscles that will help us in doing daily activities.

It also helps in burning excess fat and gain superb abs. Even though we cannot have a personal trainer in our home to guide us with the workouts we can decide which is best for us by practice.
