The fact is you can help yourself, even in the midst of such a crowd. You can stay away from the peer pressure and stick to healthy options even when eating out. It is important to exercise self-control and make prudent choices.
It is essential to let your friends know that you are on a diet and they should respect your choices. Eating out allows healthy options like salads and grilled fish or chicken.
It is important to cut out on the dressing that can turn an otherwise healthy salad to a sinful delight. Control your portion size by serving your self only what you would have and get the remaining boxed up, so there is a set amount that you eat.
Do not be tempted by the high fat, high calorie junk options available. This will help you to stick to your diet plan and not stray away from it. Also choose your beverages with care.
Avoid artificial sweeteners or sodas and colas .Opt, instead for unsweetened tea or better yet, stick to plain and simple water. Avoid alcohol at all costs.
Make sensible choices and you can be successful even in the midst of severe pressure from friends to stray away from your diet.
