In the vegetarian diet, sea vegetables are also gaining their prominence these days, especially in the western world. In Japan, seas vegetables are a very important part of the vegetarian diet among people. Sea vegetables contain almost all the essential minerals that are required for the healthy functioning of the body. Sea vegetables contain no fat and have very less amount of calories. They also provide the required amount of fiber to the body.
