5 Ways to Lose Cellulite

One way to treat cellulite is to brush the skin. Brushing the skin two times a day helps people with dry skin reduce the appearance of cellulite. By brushing the skin say once in the morning and again in the evening, the skin is exercised. The brushing actually tightens the lower layer of skin where the fatty tissues are found.

Brushing the skin can also help to stimulate the growth of healthy tissues because blood flow is increased to the affected area. Brushing the skin can also remove toxins from the body as well as rid the body of waste caused by the metabolic process.

Cellulite can also be caused by hormonal problems or a lack of necessary hormones in the body. In order to treat the cellulite problems you need to understand first what is causing them.

For example, when a person’s body has a great deal of estrogen caused by certain medications, this can be stored in the fatty tissues under the skin and eventually the estrogen retention in the fat cells will cause the skin to bulge and give the appearance of cellulite. Women who are on birth control can avoid cellulite deposits by taking a lower-estrogen dosage of birth control or they can opt for an IUD.

Our habits can also cause cellulite. Something crossing your legs while sitting can cause the appearance of cellulite because the constraint of crossing your legs can limit the amount of blood that circulates through the body and can cause the tissues to swell. Cellulite can be reduced by being active and not sitting in the same position for prolonged periods of time.

Even though most of us do not like to do it or admit it, it is important to exercise regularly in order to reduce cellulite. Regular exercise can reduce cellulite and burn fat. Exercise can also increase the blood’s circulation through the body and remove toxins that are stored in the body.

Body wraps have also been designed and are now offered to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Body wraps can be purchased at the store and applied at home or you can go to a day spa for a body wrap treatment.

Ayurvedic treatments can help reduce cellulite in many ways. One form of Ayurveda therapy is called Ayurveda Panchakarma. It is performed to flatten out cellulite dimples.

This form of cellulite treatment may take several processes starting with a massage and ending with steaming. Those that have studied Ayurvedic treatments can help remove fatty tissue from trouble areas such as the thighs, stomach, and under arms.

To sum it up, cellulite can be treated with proper exercise, a healthy diet and some of these techniques.
