WHY DIET –
The body is composed of millions of cells and tissues. It is fact that we loose lacs of cells every day. The new ones are replacing them. During digestion, perspiration, metabolism we loose cells in terms of the complexity. The breakdown of the cells is continuous process and can’t be stopped until the end. For metabolism and the functions of the cells depends on the nutrition given to them. Minerals, carbohydrates, proteins etc are the nutrients and they nourish our body cells and tissues. Supply of nutrients is undoubtedly by what we eat and drink. This is diet.
So we need diet to nourish our body for daily functioning and to settle wear and tear mechanisms. Diet also helps to build the immunity and so the defense mechanism against trillions of microorganisms what we face everyday.
