Chicken lollipop and chicken wings in sauce are two recipes that can be prepared with the chicken wings. Try the two items at home using the simple recipes below.
Chicken LolliPoP
Ingredients
1. Chicken legs or wings - 6 numbers
2. Bread crumbs - 1 cup
3. Pepper powder- 1 pinch
4. Salt- 1 pinch
5. Egg - 2
Ingredients for marinating
1. Garlic paste - 1 tea spoon
2. Pepper powder - ½ teaspoon
3. Lemon juice - 1 ½ tea spoon
4. Chilli sauce - 1 tea spoon
5. Soy sauce - 2 table spoon
6. Orange juice - 1 table spoon
7. Honey - 1tea spoon
8. Sugar - ½ tea spoon
9. Salt - as required
10. Oil - (for frying)
Method of preparation
1. Using a knife, draw slightly deep lines over the chicken.
2. Mix pepper powder, lemon juice, garlic paste, sauces, Orange juice, honey and salt. Add the chicken legs into it and mix well.
3. Let it be kept for marination for about 2-3 hours
4. Now beat the eggs well and add pepper powder with one pinch of salt.
5. Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten egg and cover it in bread crumbs.
6. Deep fry in hot oil.
Chicken Wings In Sauces
Ingredients
1. Chicken wings - 10 numbers
2. Garlic paste - 2 table spoon
3. Ginger paste - 2 table spoon
4. Soy sauce - 2 table spoon
5. Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoon
6. Spring onion(Finely chopped) - 2 pieces
7. Dry chilli - 4 nos.
8. Cooking oil - 3-4 table spoon
9. Rice wine - 2 table spoon
Method of preparation
1. Mix chicken with soy sauce and rice wine. Keep it aside for half an hour.
2. Take some oil in a pan and heat it. While it is being heated saute garlic, ginger paste, onion and chilli.
3. Add tomato sauce in it.
4. Close it with a lid and cook it in low flame for about half an hour.
5. Add required salt. When the gravy becomes thick and starts sticking onto the chicken pieces, take it off from the stove.
6. Serve hot.
Both the above recipes are an ideal combination for chapattis, nans, rice, fried rice, etc.
