Skin care is to be planned in order that fits particular type of skin. Some people are lucky enough that they got normal skin, but most of the people are not that favorable! The teenage and young adult years are the times when everyone’s oil glands tend to be overproducing oils. There are many products in the market today but then you require some facial skin care tips in order to keep your face valuable.

If you are too busy to resort some beauty salon to get some essential skin care recipe, then try some facials at home for relaxing the mind and body. The process to cleanse, exfoliate, steam, and hydration can be done with some basic methods and ingredients. Experiencing a variety of curing options and products for revitalizing the skin, replenish essential nutrients and reducing the signs of skin damages and aging of the skin remains the motto.

Let us quickly look facial skin care tips for different types of skins

Dry Skin

If one has drier, tighter, flakier skin because of underproductive oiling glands. For some people this is the reason for getting fewer pimples. The plan here is washing the face once or twice in a day with some mild cleansers (nothing that is labeled as 'soap'), but go for something that is 'cleansing or beauty bar'. Soap has too much detergent in it that can make skin drier.

Oily Skin

In many people, the oiling glands work overtime. The skin is shining and the pores tend to get chocked up, causing blackhead, whitehead and acne. Here, the plan is washing the face two timesa day with some medicated cleansing product. In that way, a gel seems to work better. Then use a toner that contains witch hazel. For acne problem, one should go for 2.5 % benzoyl peroxide lotion (the generic brands equally work well). If they dry up the skin, take some days off from using them. One should not use the 5% or 10% benzoyl peroxide.

Combination Skin

This type of the skin is what most of the people have. The T-zone is oily, while the eye areas, cheeks and sometimes neck region are dry. Here, the plain is if one can spend time and the money, it is better to use different products for the different regions. However, it is simpler to use any of the natural cleansers. Washing once or twice in a day with some mild milky or exfoliating cleansers is advisable. Using some alcohol-free toners those contain some salicylic acid onto the T-zone and a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide to the oily regions at night is what most of the beauticians advise.

Normal Skin

Ah, that’s lucky guys! One may have some acne before the period if she is a female. Here, the plan goes washing the face two times a day with some mild cleansers. One may want to go for some moisturizing lotions afterwards, if it seems causing you to breakout, one should stop using the moisturisers. One might not need it. Some of the beauticians favor Dove products to be good for such situations.

Steaming time :

Steaming is important since it opens up pores and improves blood circulation on the surface of the skin. Selection of some potent herbs like lavenders, mints or calendula for drier skin or mints, lavenders, roses and witch hazels, for oilier skin or try calendulas, chamomiles, or comfreys for sensitive skin and boil them in a bowl of water. Pour hot steamy water into a larger bowl and bring it to the place the facial is to be done. Lean the face over the bowl about one foot away and cover the entire head and the bowl to retain the steams inside with a cotton cloth. If there is any feeling of a burning sensation, stop for some time and repeat it. Keeping the steam going for about 15 minutes is an ideal way.
