How to Apply Lipstick     Bookmark and Share

The lips are important. They speak, they keep quiet and most importantly, they kiss!!! It is all about affection and attractiveness they are naturally gifted with. Not only lips are considered to be very sexy organ in the women’s body but for the women, they are too much to concern about.

On the other hand, the wrong color lipstick, heavy lip lining and lips those have been “drawn on” are commonest makeup mistakes that can ruin-up the entire look. Many women who are not sure of how to wear lipstick skip the step that totally leaves the makeup looking out of balance.

Perfect looking lips are come-at-able and that begins with an ideal lip lining. One can have lips those look like a makeup artist did them simply by following some important tips.

Some of the important lipstick applying tips

# 1: One can line before or after an application of lipstick or gloss. Some women favor to apply liner first, stating that one will not be able to see the natural lines of the lips if the lipstick is applied first.

# 2: The older the woman is, the 'creamier' the lips should appear. Women over 50 should restrict matte or a gloss and remain with some creamy lipstick.

# 3: Never throw out the lipstick you don’t like a color. Beauty exports understand you and can create some awesome color by blending lipsticks that you even cannot imagine about. One can also color in lips with some dark liners before applying a lipstick which is too light.

# 4: Try keeping lip gloss on longer with liner. Lip glosses are infamous to wear off fast, but if one fills in lips first with the liners, the glosses have something to adhere to.

# 5: Lipstick over? One might notice that there is still a bit of lipstick down in the container. Scrape out the last residuals with some cotton piece or orange sticks and blend it with Vaseline or lip gloss in lipstick palettes.

# 6: One should not use a test lipstick onto the lips directly. It is just plain unhygienic. Instead, test lipsticks onto your fingertips. It is a closer fit to the lips than the backside of the hand.

# 7: Another good tip is using liner onto the lips as a base. Lipsticks last long if anyone fills in the lips with the liner first. If one is using light lipsticks, try with some nude liners. Then slick the lipsticks on the top.

# 8: A woman should never use dark liners with lighter lipsticks. Defined lips are just attractive, but make sure the liner adjusts with the lipstick or gloss. Darker liner and lighter lips is tacky.

# 9: In order to be attractive, keep lipstick off the teeth. This can be done with a simple tip; after applying lipstick, take the index finger and put it into the mouth, then pull it out and by doing this, an excess lipstick comes out with the finger rather than sticking to teeth.

# 10: Lipstick can serve as a blush but one should not use blush as a lipstick.

# 11: Try to avoid orange or brownish shades, letting in even the corals. They are infamous to turn the teeth appearing yellow.

# 12: Disguise the yellowed teeth and to downplay the yellow cast to teeth, one can try lipsticks having some bluish undertone. Shades, which works include; plum, pink, wine and violet according to experts.
