Shampoos help hair fall and make hair strong enough to withstand those accidental pulling of the hairs.
Let us look at different types of hair shampoos
Baby Shampoos:
Babies are delicate, and so their each of the organs; including their scalps and hairs. Baby shampoos are very mild and soft and do not contain any abrasive chemicals those can irritate the skin and their eyes. However, some health experts agree that these shampoos might have a pH of 8, same as the eyes, and because of this, they do not sting babies’ eyes. However, such shampoos, leave them for the babies, they do not give the hair what they require. One should need hair shampoos those have a pH of 4.5 to 5.5
Violet Shampoos:
These shampoos have certain special pigments for filtering out the yellowing in grays and blonde hairs. One can use one of these to take off the brassiness from the hair between colorings. However, such shampoos can dry off if they contain lighteners those most of them do.
Clarifying Shampoos:
These are the shampoos that are good products for removing product build up and excessive oil production from the scalp, a major cause for dandruff. Clarifying shampoos contain no conditioning agents so it is advisable to condition a little after if one wants to get a comb through the hair without hurting them.
Pigment Containing Shampoo:
One might be familiar with Henna containing shampoos used for brownish hair and violets for blondes. These shampoos are along the same lines as the violet shampoo but for darker hairs for enriching the colors or lengthening the colors between salon visits.
Conditioning Shampoo:
Probably, these types of shampoos are most popular or known. These products contain added conditioners for simplifying the washing showering processes. Such shampoos are great for men and children but for women, they might not prefer this since they have some other cosmetic products those are specially made for hair conditioning.
Moisturizing Shampoo:
These are the shampoos those contain agents that can moisturize the hairs rather than strip. They are used especially on the dry hair. They are less known to control sebum production in the skin.
How to apply hair shampoos
It could be different from product-to-product or from individual-to-individual. However, one can follow a common method.
For this, one has to first, thoroughly saturate the scalp and hair using lukewarm or cool water. Take a note that hot water inclines drying out hairs and scalp. One should then apply little amount of shampoo (in a size of a quarter) onto the palm and rub both the hands together for evenly distributing the rich lathery material.
The next step is to apply shampoos to the scalp with the balls of the fingers gently. The primary objective of shampooing is cleaning the scalp along with hair roots and not wrestles with the hair. And hence, concentrate on massaging softly and allow suds to get distributed all across the hair while rinsing. It is not required to do the rinse and then repeat routine unless one has oily scalp and/or hair.
