URINE THERAPY – as an internal

This means using your own urine externally or internally to achieve good health by means of physical and mental status. There are hundreds of examples those left untouched with all the medicine system turned on in a good fashion with just a urine therapy. The very first doubt come to the mind that urine is the most waste products in our body and is thrown out by default. How it makes a person health? But if one looks at the composition, it clarifies the doubt as the urine is composed of 95% water, 2.5% urea and remaining 2.5% mixture of minerals, salt, hormones and enzymes. Ultimately it is not a toxic waste product.

Putting urine back into the digestive system, urea - the poisonous substance but in micro quantity it purifies, cleans up excess mucus and produces numbers of other good effects gets recycled. The function of kidneys is to keep the composition of the blood in optimal balance. Liver, intestines, skin and other organs remove real toxins.

That is about the internal use. Now a day the external therapy with urine is also glooming the health science. Numbers of examples are now coming in light.

EXTERNAL THERAPY -

Massaging/rubbing:

In this either fresh or old urine is used. Old urine being 4-8 days old has better healing touch but since it has very pungent odor, it is not into that much practice. This is very useful specially during fasting when the body is not getting enough supplements, urine works as most nourishing to the body penetrating through skin.

You can leave the urine on or wash it off after an hour or so, just with water or with a mild, natural soap. Fresh urine as an after-shave gives you a beautiful soft skin. It is also helpful in all kinds of skin problems such as itching, sunburns, eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Gentle rubbing of urine into acupressure points (for example, on the ears) is useful when reactions are otherwise too strong accompanied by heavy allergic reaction.

Footbaths: dipping foot into the tub containing one’s urine helps solving problem of skin and nail problems of the feet (athlete’s foot and ringworm to name for).

Compress: When rubbing is not appropriate, this is another way of applying urine on the skin.

Hair and scalp massage: Makes the hair soft and clean. There is evidence that it stimulates new hair growth.
